ACOE felicitates Onanuga on recognition of national honour

The Association of Corporate Online Editor (ACOE) has felicitated the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga who was comferred National honour (Commander of the Order of the Niger CON).
In a statement released by Association Spokesman on Friday, the newly elected chairman, Omosola Akingboye said, “this recognition is a testament to Onanuga outstanding contributions and dedication to public service.
Akingboye who on behalf of the association therefore wished the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu continued success and impactful contribution as he carry out his daily duty.

Onanuga was among the 139 notable Nigerians President Bola Ahmed Tinubu comferred these National Honours on Thursday to recognize their outstanding contributions in shaping the country’s democracy.


This is in commemoration of the Democracy Day, June 12, 2025 while it noted that 67 of these honours were awarded posthumously, acknowledging the enduring legacy of their sacrifices.

In addition, the President also exercised his constitutional powers to grant a Presidential pardon to the ‘Ogoni Nine,’ who were also honored with national recognition.
