AGLOFEST sets to celebrate Africa’s cultural heritage in grand style

Tunde MacAlabi, CEO of T-BYK, in collaboration with Center for Black Arts and African Civilization announce a new home grown festival.

The highly anticipated African Global Festival Nigeria (AGLOFEST) set to take center stage in the last quarter of 2025, bringing together cultural enthusiasts, artists, and thought leaders from across the globe to celebrate the vibrancy of African heritage.

This year’s maiden edition promises to be an unforgettable experience, showcasing the richness of African creative industry products alongside music, dance, and fashion.
The program is projected to generate over USD20 billion into the Nigerian economy, across sectors within the next five years, with sustainable hosting of the program.

AGLOFEST is more than just a festival, it is a movement dedicated to uniting
Africans and the black diaspora through culture, creativity, and collaboration.

Set against the backdrop of Nigeria’s rich history and diverse traditions, the festival will feature an exciting line-up of live performances, cultural exhibitions, fashion showcases, business networking sessions, and panel discussions with some of the most influential voices in Black and African culture and entertainment.
Highlights of AGLOFEST Include: Business & Innovation Summit, a platform for networking and discussions on Africa’s creative economy, entrepreneurship, and investment opportunities.

Live Music & Dance Performances: A star-studded lineup of African artists and traditional performers bringing electrifying rhythms and moves to the stage.

Cultural Exhibitions: A showcase of Africa’s finest artifacts, crafts, and historical treasures from various regions of the continent, Fashion & Art

offering an array of authentic African delicacies, celebrating the continent’s diverse culinary heritage.

Speaking about the festival, Tunde MacAlabi, the Founder/Convener of AGLOFEST, said: “AGLOFEST will be a celebration of Black and Africa’s unity, strength, and cultural diversity.
“Scheduled to take place in Abuja, Lagos and Uyo, our goal is to create a space where Blacks and Africans at home and abroad can reconnect with their roots, share their stories.

The African Global Festival Nigeria is expected to attract thousands of attendees, including artists, cultural ambassadors, entrepreneurs, and government officials, making it one of the most significant cultural events in Africa.

The program enjoys the support of the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Creative Economy and Tourism, Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Air Peace Airline and His Excellency the President of Nigeria, who is the Grand Patron and Chief Global Ambassador of AGLOFEST.
