The Anglican Grammmar School Okenla, Ifo, Ogun State, Old Students Association (AGSOSA) has scheduled 25 and 26 July, 2025 for the Retreat and Inauguration ceremony of the newly elected executives.
According to the statement signed by the Chairman of the Association’s Electoral Body (AGSOSAEC INEC), Paul Osilama Ayokhai on Wednesday.
He revealed that the agreement was made during the meeting held recently with Board of Trustees (BoT) Chairman, Hon. Taiwo Olakunle Oluomo, Outgoing President, OS. Funsho Onipede, Incoming President, OS. Gbenga Fashina and other representatives.
While the event is scheduled as follow:
25th July, 2025: Retreat for Incoming National Executives with B.O.T.; Outgoing President and his principal executive members (General Secretary, Treasurer and Finance Secretary) and AGSOSAEC INEC.
Tour or familiarization of the school premises by 10:00 am and Induction of the Newly Elected National Executives by the facilitator by 2:00 pm.
Inauguration Program: Arrival and registration of AGSOSA members, Call to order by the National Provost, Opening prayer, Welcome address by the President
Keynote address by the BOT Chairman, Goodwill messages by Pioneer President and Diaspora Representative
Outgoing President’s Reports: Executive and Financial Report for 2 years and the members reactions/comments
Inauguration/swearing in of new executives: Handing over by the Outgoing President to the New President
New President’s Address, members reactions/comments, Closing remarks and Closing prayer.
AGSOSAEC Chairman pressed further that the registered seventeen Sets, which includes the Chairmen, the executives and members are expected to grace or honour this Inauguration ceremony.
Ayokhai used this medium to call on all AGSOSANS to attend this historic and hallmark Inauguration ceremony to know the National Executive members and hold them accountable for all joint projects.

Recall that the election was held at the School premises on April 26, 2025 which had 120 accredited delegates from 14 sets and OS Olugbenga Fashina being unopposed got 120 votes as elected President, Bamidele Adebowale secured the Vice President 1 with 64 votes to defeat Adebiyi Adetutu.
Also, Oluseyi Adekunle declared winner of the Vice President 2 Diaspora, Charles Afolabi defeated Charles Oloyede to win the National Secretary, Adesina Akamo elected Assistant National Secretary.
Other elected positions, Treasurer, Sowunmi Taiwo, Financial Secretary, Rahmon Folayimi, Social Secretary, Adejoke Yusuf, Welfare Secretary, Adegoke Yetunde, National Provost, Korede Ademuyiwa and Publicity Secretary, Adebisi Adebesin.
