Barr. Musa Musawa, the Minister of FMACTCE, recently spearheaded the official flag-off of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR) Sectoral Personnel, Practitioners, Operators, and Institutions Registration, Induction, and Professional Practices Certificate Presentation ceremony in Abuja.

This pivotal event marks a significant stride towards the upholding global benchmarks, ensuring impeccable service delivery, and sanitizing the sector in alignment with the NIHOTOUR Act, 2022.

Addressing the new inductees, industry players, and stakeholders, the Minister emphasized the dawn of a regulated era characterized by professional accountability, excellence, and international competitiveness.

This transformation, she asserted, is a cornerstone of the Renewed Hope Agenda, designed to propel Nigeria’s tourism sector onto the global stage.
The Minister underscored the critical need for a unified approach, urging government agencies, private entities, and public sectors to collaborate seamlessly.

Her vision is to forge a professionally structured, globally recognized, and economically impactful sector.

“We must work as a team, one body, an entity, and as one vehicle, having one goal which is the development of Nigeria,” she passionately declared.
