FG releases phase one of activities lined up for Tinubu’s 1st anniversary

The Federal Government through the Media and Publicity Sub-Committee of the Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) on the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s First Anniversary has released the first phase of the timetable for activities lined up to mark the event. 


According to the statement released from the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation stated that the First Anniversary schedule of events is expected to begin on Wednesday, 22 May 2024, with a World Press Conference aimed at projecting the President’s Administration’s achievements and future plans. 

The statement further that the World Press Conference will be held at the National Press Centre, Radio House, Abuja, at 10:00 a.m.
Following this, Sectoral Updates, focusing on each ministry’s specific accomplishments and goals, will continue until Friday, 24th May 2024. While all briefing activities will be held at the National Press Centre, Radio House, Abuja.

Tinubu of All Progressive Congress (APC) Party was swore into office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on May 29th, 2023, after defeating the People’s Democratic Party PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of the Labour Party at the February Presidential elections.
