A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Engineer Oyedele Hakeem Alao (Allow Alao), has condemned what he described as the negligence of the road project to Eruwa by the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin.
The Asiwaju of Irokoland while speaking on behalf of concerned citizens and community leaders, condemned the abandonment as a failure of leadership and a grave disappointment to the people of Eruwa, expressing deep concern over the state of the road and the silence that has followed its abandonment.
He reminded the Speaker of the reverred legacy left behind by Pa Ogundoyin of blessed memory, a philanthropist and visionary who devoted his entire life to the development of his people.
“We will never forget Baba. He was a man of the people, a leader whose legacy still lives in every corner of Ibarapa. We expected nothing less from his son,” Alao added.
“This is the only way forward. This project has dragged for too long, and the people deserve better. If Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin truly wants his peoples love, peace and to be welcomed home with open arms, he must act now and do what is right by his people.
“The people of Ibarapa are calling not just for accountability but for a return to the values of commitment, integrity, and selfless service —values that defined the late Pa Ogundoyin”, he emphasized.
