MIP unveils winners of International Padel Tournament in Egypt

In a closing ceremony held at IL BOSCO Javelin Sports Club, host of the second edition of IL BOSCO International Padel Tournament, Misr Italia Properties MIP and JPadel Egypt announced winners across the tournament’s three categories; international, local and universities.

The ceremony was attended by Ahmed Seoudy and Ahmed Fathy, Co-CEOs at Misr Italia Properties who expressed their delight regarding success of tournament, held under the auspices of Ministry of Youth and Sports, as well as the Administrative Capital for Urban Development, and organized in collaboration with the Egyptian and International Padel Federations.

The tournament garnered official recognition from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, further stressing Misr Italia Properties’ unwavering commitment to organizing exceptional sporting activities that position the New Administrative Capital as a hub that attracts various remarkable and influential events.



With the participation of accomplished players representing diverse nationalities, and students hailing from esteemed universities, the tournament truly embraced inclusivity and celebrated diversity. Notably, it showcased remarkable skills of 40 esteemed female players, both locally and internationally renowned, who left their mark on the tournament.

The international tournament was concluded by awarding a lineup of illustrious winners including Inigo Joffre and Fran Navas in the men’s category, while Victoria Kors and Dennis Hoover emerged victorious in the highly competitive women’s category.

The local tournament, on the other hand, showcased the exceptional talents of Youssef Al-Shami and Samer Sherif, who secured the title in the Amateur Competitions, alongside the remarkable achievement of Mohamed Ragab and Omar Ezzat in the Plate Draw competitions.

The EPF competition saw the victory of Youssef Hossam and Ari Karasu, while Farida Al-Halabi and Nayla Ajamiyya claimed the well-deserved first-place position in the local championship for women.



The universities championship saw the students of GUC emerging as winners; while, Ashraf and Adham Al-Saeed were honored with the prestigious Misr Italia Properties Award, recognizing their exceptional talent and contribution to the tournament’s success.

The tournament witnessed the participation of 400 players representing 15 countries, including the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, France, Spain, Morocco, UAE, Qatar, and Egypt.

Notable universities such as Ryerson University and Coventry University in the New Administrative Capital, AUC and GUC, were well-represented across the four-day event as well.

Prizes were awarded in each category, with the winners of the international championship receiving a substantial prize of EUR20,000, while the local championship and university championship winners received prizes of EGP200,000 and EGP50,000, respectively.

They also took immense pride in hosting the tournament at IL Bosco Javelin Sports Club, the first comprehensive sports facility to open its doors in the New Administrative Capital, emphasized Misr Italia Properties’ consistent approach towards selecting partners; exemplified by the invaluable contribution of JPadel Egypt, which played a pivotal role in ensuring the tournament’s year-on-year progress.
