The Ogun State Government has announced free public access to Olomo Rock until the end of September 2025 to promote tourism and cultural appreciation in the State.
The governor described Olumo Rock as a timeless symbol of refuge, identity, and resilience for the Egba people.
Reaffirming tourism as a priority under his administration’s ISEYA development agenda, Abiodun noted the sector’s potential to generate employment, stimulate investment, and foster cultural pride.
“Entrepreneurial zones have been introduced to empower artisans and boost local commerce”, the Governor said.
He disclosed plans to concession the facility for sustainable management and reiterated the state’s commitment to expanding its network of cultural and heritage tourism sites across Ogun State.
