The Purple Crown Gymnastics Club marked a major milestone with the successful hosting of its 5th Edition of the Annual Fun Day & Beauty Pageant, held in style at the picturesque Imagine Early Years and Elementary School, Maitama, Abuja, Nigeria.
The colorful event attracted children from various schools and nationalities, accompanied by their families and friends, creating an atmosphere filled with fun, fanfare, and festive pageantry.
Parents, guests, and participants were treated to a delightful blend of gymnastics showcases, talent displays, and the beauty pageant parade, highlighting not only the athletic abilities of the children but also their confidence and creativity.
According to him, “This event gives children the courage to express themselves before a live audience, and that confidence is a life skill.
“I encourage all parents to support their wards in this art. Special thanks to Coach Martha Gabriel and her team for their tireless efforts.”
Mrs. Queen Ehi-Uujamha, another supportive parent whose daughter has been with the club for over two years, also praised the organizers.
She highlighted how her daughter’s flexibility, concentration, and overall well-being have significantly improved.
“I’m particularly impressed with how the beauty pageant was integrated this year. It has added more excitement to the Fun Day,” she added.
Mrs. Stella Chibuike-Ezike, a proud mother of two gymnasts and a co-sponsor of the event, emphasized the deeper impact of gymnastics beyond flips and stunts.
“This is about building confidence, resilience, teamwork, and life skills,” she remarked. “It’s a refreshing alternative to traditional school routines, and I’m proud to be part of this journey.”
The highlight of the beauty pageant was the crowning of Miss Meridith I. Ketsy as Queen of the Year, amid cheers and applause.
In a delightful show of future commitment, Mrs. Adiat Olajumoke Ariyo, Chief Executive Officer of Nanny’s Palace Limited, pledged her company’s sponsorship support for the next edition of the Purple Crown Gymnastics Club’s annual event.
The day ended with laughter, cheers, and proud moments for both children and their parents alike, an unforgettable celebration of talent, strength, and grace.
