Queen of Drums, others to storm African Youth Tourism Festival

The Queen of Drums, Aralola will lead the Talking Drummers Ensemble to the 2024 forthcoming African Youth Tourism Festival scheduled to hold from 16th to 20th of April at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos State, Nigeria.

According to the organisers, this talking Drummers Ensemble will reverberate the sound and echo of African Heritage with an open secret showcasing the drum as the oldest mobile telephone on earth, a powerful tool to communicate and the rhythmic beauty of African culture.

The event will also explore the adventure of Zumba, a unique dance creation of wellness lifestyle. This form of dance is therapeutic for healthy living with Dr. Blossom Maduafokwa on 20th April as part of the grand finale of the 2024 African Youth Tourism Festival.

While putting on your Zumba dance kits, connect at 9 am for the danceable tour activities before set out for the day to experience the Lagos City Tour and Yacht Boat Cruise, and then next is the evening Beach Tourism Party time.

Setting collaborative efforts with the federal government, the organiser met with Minister of Tourism, Lola Ade- John who identified with the Festival stressed the fact that the new policies under her watch are aimed at ensuring that tourism is sustainable within the States across the country.

Also, TechYouthFest is another segment of the 2024 African Youth Tourism Festival with the tourism as a social exploration bringing youths to tourism-related fields. The space is open for youths in Tech showing savvy in a creative Tech World.

Giving the youths the opportunity to meet Tech Icons during the MASTER CLASS, thereby inspiring the GENZ to the world of exploits while exploring the Technovate Edition of the 2024 African Youth Tourism Festival from 16th to 20th April at TBS, in Lagos, Nigeria.

The founder, Ambassador Ayo Omotoso pointed out that, “The African Youth Tourism Festival is of international importance, as a veritable platform to engage the younger generation in their quest to explore and to venture into the vast value chain that tourism provides.”

He sees tourism as a potential socio- economic platform for sustainable development and should be used as an instrument to engage the youth across board.

Omotoso who double as the CEO, Travelogue Communications Ltd said, “The teeming youth population statistics globally and in Nigeria is an indication that they should embrace and create a source of living through tourism.”

The festival will witness other lots of activities such as: Conferences and Exhibitions, Musical and Cultural Display, African Food Carnival, City Tour, Beach Tourism Party, Talents Discovery, Hospitality Fiesta, and Fashion Show among others.
