The grand finale of 10:17 festival will continue to linger in the memories of the legendary radio presenter, the versatile broadcaster and founder of Yes 101.7 FM radio, Yemi Sonde and the entire staff of Yes 101.7 FM.
It was an exciting time as staff, well wishers, personalities in media industry, celebrities, business stakeholders, creme de la creme in the society and political icons gathered at Mauve 21, Ring Road, Ibadan for the grand finale of 10:17 festival.
The founder and the Group Managing Director of Yes FM, Mr. Yemi Sonde popularly called “Jigan Akala” noted that the 10:17 Festival was established as a platform to celebrate culture, empower the community, and make a positive societal impact.
Others included Ambrose Somide; Alhaji Dan Kazeem; Alhaji Gboyega Lawal; Chairman, Ufit Fly, Ajibola Ogunkeyede, Chief Operating Officer, (COO), Honour FM, Pastor Seun Awodele among other personalities who graced the event with their presence.
The event was anchored by the Chairman, Association of Nigeria Broadcasters (ANBROAD), Osun State Chapter, Akintunde Oyelade popularly called “Oro lomo”.
These performances, filled with rhythm and energy, kept the audience dancing and celebrating throughout the day.
Other side attraction included playing of traditional game (Ayo Olopon)
The Yes FM 10:17 Festival has indeed left an indelible mark in the community, fulfilling its promise to celebrate culture, empower lives, and create lasting memories for the people of Ibadan as the day also coincided with the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty.
