The newly elected executives of Anglican Grammar School, Okenla Ifo, Ogun State, Old Students Association (AGSOSA) have paid a familiarization visit to the Board of Trustees (BoT) Chairman, Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olakunle Oluomo, and Alma Mater.
In attendance were the Association President-elect, OS Gbenga Fashina, the General Secretary-elect, OS Charle Goriola Afolabi.
Also, the Assistant National Secretary-elect, OS Adeshina Akamo, the Treasurer-elect, OS Taiwo Showumi and the Public Relations Officer (PRO)-elect, OS Adebisi Adebesin.The President-elect after introducing the team members, expressed gratitude to the BoT Chairman for his unwavering support to the association while prayed for continued divine support for the Chairman.
Fashina briefed the BoT Chairman on the elected exco’s planned visit to the school for an on-the-spot assessment and also requested Oluomo’s guidance on bridging gaps and uniting members.

The BoT Chairman, Oluomo who gave the newly elected executives a warmly welcome, expressed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote the association’s growth and success.He shared a brief history of AGSOSA, tracing its inception to 1989/90/91, and he also congratulated them on their electoral victory.
The BoT Chairman emphasized the need for peace and unity among members and advised the elected executives to focus on projects that would benefit the association and the school.

Specifically, he suggested identifying a project to execute before the end of their tenure in 2027.
After the visit to the BoT Chairman, the newly elected executives proceeded to the school, met with both the Senior and Junior School Principals, engaged in a meeting with PTA members to address the recent roof disaster.
The newly executives who also conducted an on-the-spot assessment of both the Junior and Senior schools noted the following:
At the Junior School:
Principal’s office, computer room, administrative building, Technical workshop, Classrooms, Laboratories (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology), Library, Tuck shop, Staff rooms and the School hall displacement.
Senior School:
Art studio, Well-spaced classrooms, Toilets donated by SRC, Water project (drinkable water), Sick bay (managed by teachers due to lack of nurses), Staff rooms, Principal’s office, Vice Principal’s offices, ICT center, Musical instruments, Well-equipped laboratory and the School library.
The Principals, in their suggestions, seeks the help of the executives in organizing mentorship classes for students, career reform, establishment of an old students’ desk and presenting awards during the end-of-session prize-giving day.
