The Director-General of National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu disclosed this at the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Corps members who are undergoing the Orientation Course in Rivers State.

According to the statement released the DG also urged the Corps members to be patriotic, and allow integrity, efficiency, transparency, commitment and other good virtues to be their guiding principles.
Emphasising the need for team spirit, he also enjoined the corps members to see themselves as one indivisible family.

Nafiu, who commended the Corps Members for obeying the clarion call to serve their fatherland, encouraged them to make positive contributions to national development.
Earlier, the NYSC Rivers State Coordinator, Mr Moses Oleghe, had presented the Camp situation report to the Director-General.

He said the Two Thousand Five Hundred and Eighty-Six Corps undergoing the Orientation Course had demonstrated high level of discipline, patriotism and commitment.
