He expressed his gratitude for the media’s unwavering support throughout his political journey, acknowledging that their assistance was instrumental in his election to the National Assembly.

“The leadership of the House is such that a young person like me has been given a responsibility. It shows that leadership of the House is actually one that nurtures young people, allocates responsibilities to them,” Ehindero stated.

He further emphasized the indispensable nature of media partnerships for lawmakers to effectively fulfill their duties.
Reflecting on his legislative impact, Ehindero highlighted significant achievements within his first 100 days in office.

These include the employment of over 60 young individuals in various government parastatals and agencies, the renovation of six to seven Primary Healthcare Centres, and the provision of medical equipment.

Additionally, he noted the distribution of delivery gifts to more than 350 pregnant women in his constituency, achievements he described as “quite unprecedented” within such a short timeframe.
Looking ahead, the lawmaker announced plans for upcoming empowerment programs and expressed his intention to involve ACOE in publicizing these initiatives.

“This relationship is a working relationship, it will continue to build up and grow. The empowerment we would be having in next 2 months thereabouts will be like the first major work that we will be doing together and I’m looking forward to it,” he assured.

Comrade Shola Akingboye, Chairman of ACOE, commended Hon. Ehindero for his dedication to youth empowerment and the welfare of journalists, affectionately calling him a “friend of the media.”
Akingboye highlighted Ehindero’s contributions to quality legislation and empowerment programs, which have provided numerous opportunities for young people to access education and build sustainable futures.

Akingboye affirmed that a partnership with ACOE would significantly amplify the lawmaker’s impact, legislative oversight, and empowerment initiatives, pledged ACOE’s continued support for Hon. Ehindero’s future aspirations.

The visit culminated in the presentation of the “Champion of Journalists Award” to Honorable Ehindero, recognizing his outstanding contributions to upliftment of Nigerian journalists.

And the empowerment of women, youth, and vulnerable populations and was also adorned with a symbolic ACOE “Muffler,” signifying his bond with the association.
