Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has delivered a resolute address at a government meeting on Monday.

He emphasized on the escalating conflict in Lebanon, the collapse of nuclear negotiations with Iran, and Israel’s broader regional security posture.

Security Zone in Lebanon Strengthened

Netanyahu detailed his recent visit to Lebanon’s security zone, commending the “incredible work” of Israeli reservists and commanders.

He highlighted their success in establishing a “solid, deeper security zone” to prevent invasion and counter anti-tank missile threats.

“They are pushing the enemy away from the border,” Netanyahu stated, noting the flattening of “terrorist villages” adjacent to Israel.

He acknowledged the ongoing efforts to
address high-trajectory rocket fire and expressed confidence in restoring security to the North, ensuring residents receive the same level of protection as all Israeli citizens.
The Prime Minister affirmed that fighting continues, with recent operations concentrated in Bint Jbeil.

Iran Nuclear Negotiations Collapse, Naval Blockade Imposed

In a significant development, Israeli Prime Minister revealed the collapse of nuclear negotiations with Iran, citing a conversation with United States Vice President JD Vance.

According to Netanyahu, the “explosion came from the American side,” due to Iran’s “blatant violation of the agreement
to enter into negotiations” by failing to cease firing and open the straits.

He further stated that the central focus for President Donald Trump and the US is the removal of all enriched material
and ensuring no further enrichment in Iran for decades.
“Since Iran violated the rules, President Trump decided to impose naval blockade on them,” he announced, expressing Israel’s full support for this “firm stance”, emphasizing “coordination like never before” with the US administration.

“Never Again”: A Nation’s Resolve

On the eve of Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Day, Netanyahu drew a stark contrast between the past and the present, asserting that Israel is now actively confronting its adversaries in the region.

He underscored the immense power of the State of Israel, 80 years after the Holocaust, and warned that without Israel’s independent actions, the threats posed by entities like Iran and its proxies in the Middle East could have catastrophic consequences.

Netanyahu concluded with a powerful declaration: “There will not be another Holocaust,” attributing this resolve to the “great deeds of the IDF, by the steadfast standing of the citizens of Israel, and by the very strong determination of the
Government of Israel” in addressing current regional challenges.
