In Bryanston, South Africa, the Chinese number one auto brand, Chery has cooperated with local charities and dealers to deliver hygiene supplies and snacks to children in Pretoria.
This was disclosed through the auto company’s website as Chery joined the family of “national charity” on Mandela Day with practical actions, which is the embodiment of its firm responsibility of “global corporate citizen”.
Chery’s Brand Manager of South African market, Bianca van Staden, called on local dealers to support their own charities on the eve of Nelson Mandela International Day.
“In addition, with more sense of responsibility, this activity is regarded as a part of activity plan of ‘With Chery With Love’, and we are preparing to build a users’ club with Chery’s new products as the core.”
As Bianca van Staden said, in less than one year, Chery not only joined hands with local dealer partners and vehicle owners to raise water and sanitation supplies for the victims affected by floods in KwaZulu-Natal Province, but also joined the mainstream media to make donations to charities in Johannesburg.
“We are proud of our dedication to public welfare undertakings in South Africa,” he also said, “Nowadays, our dealer partners, global employees and even our vehicle owners have participated in public welfare activities to convey Chery’s love and warmth.”

Chery transported a large amount of drinking water to affected areas of Visayas and Vis-Min by typhoon Odette in the Philippines to solve the water supply problems of local families.
In addition, it also provided maintenance support to the affected vehicles of Chery users to help them cope with the difficult reconstruction lives after the disaster.
In Kuwait, in response to the theme of “Breast Cancer Awareness Month”, Chery, together with its local partner Alghanim, public welfare Organization “Sidra Association” and many local well-known brands, held a series of public welfare activities to care for women’s health.
In Algeria, for the sake of supporting the local people in fighting against COVID-19 pandemic, Chery donated a large number of medical oxygen generators to the Algerian Red Crescent Society for the treatment of patients.
