All arrangements have been concluded to give Madam Cecilia Idowu Layonu Olanusi (nee Omisore) a befitting burial.
The children of the deceased, Modupe Famoriyo Kuti (Uk based) and Dr. Tokunbo Adegoke( US based), made the disclosure to journalists while speaking in a telephone.
According to them, the Christian Wake Keep has been scheduled to hold on February 20, 2025 at RCCG, Holy Ghost Power Cathedral, Oyo Province 2 Headquarters, 1, Redemption Way, Oluwonla, Bashorun/ New Bodija, Ibadan Oyo State by 4pm.

On the following day, February 21, 2025 by 10am, funeral service will be held at RCCG, Holy Ghost Power Cathedral, Oyo Province 2 Headquarters Number 1 Redemption Way, Oluwonla, Bashorun/ New Bodija Area, Ibadan, Oyo State.
While interment will follow immediately at St. James Cathedral Cemetery, Ijokodo, Ibadan and reception will take place at Daylan Event Hall, Poly Road, Eleyele, Ibadan same day.

Expected to grace the final burial ceremony include people from home and in Diaspora, political icons, business stakeholders, celebrities and host of others. Apreel1 Events TV is expected to cover the event.
