FRSC launches nationwide integrity drive to flush out corruption

In a decisive move reflecting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” Agenda, which champion discipline, and a zero-tolerance approach to corruption in public service, Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed has launched a nationwide integrity drive within the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

This comprehensive initiative, spearheaded by members of the Corps Management, aims to purify the FRSC’s operational culture, bolstering professionalism, productivity, and ethical service delivery in fulfilling its critical life-saving mandate on Nigerian roads.

On March 3, 2026, strategic engagements were conducted across all FRSC commands nationwide.

These sessions form a cornerstone of Corps Marshal Mohammed’s broader reform agenda, designed to reposition the FRSC as a model institution founded on discipline, accountability, and unwavering public trust.

During these engagements, a clear and uncompromising message was delivered to all personnel: the era of mediocrity is over.

Officers and men were charged to recommit themselves to the highest standards of discipline, integrity, and operational excellence, while upholding a strict zero-tolerance stance on corruption in the discharge of their duties.

The Corps leadership underscored that this renewed focus on professionalism is paramount to strengthening institutional integrity and restoring public confidence in the FRSC.

Personnel were reminded that the Corps’ mandate extends beyond mere enforcement; it encompasses protecting lives, promoting responsible road use, and serving the Nigerian public with honour, transparency, and accountability.
Under Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed’s leadership, the FRSC is witnessing a profound institutional renewal, one that prioritises professionalism, ethical conduct, and operational efficiency as the bedrock of its service.

This nationwide engagement represents a decisive step in reinforcing a culture where integrity is non-negotiable, excellence is expected, and every officer remains committed to the Corps’ core mission of saving lives on Nigerian roads.

The Management of the Corps reiterated its unwavering commitment to these reforms and assures the motoring public that the FRSC will continue to strengthen its operations to deliver safer roads and improved service to the nation.
