As world ring in a new year, the Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau has urged Canadian to recommit their values of unity, inclusivity, diversity, says Canada is the best country in the world, while seek for more betterment.
Trudeau in his new year message on Sunday said in 2023, the country stood strong through some difficult times, noted that despite the geopolitical instability, global inflation, and Canada’s worst wildfire season on record, the people didn’t give up.
Speaking of 2023 achievement, the Prime Minister said the Government of Canada provided targeted inflation relief to the families who needed it most, delivered $10-a-day child care in over half the provinces and territories.
Adding that his Government introduced dental care that will benefit millions of Canadians, including seniors, attracted investments from around the world to Canadian communities, creating jobs its workers can count on and to build more homes, faster from coast to coast to coast.
Trudeau emphasized that there is so much more to do while promised that his govt over the next year, will keep supporting the middle class – creating good jobs, building more homes, and keeping the air clean.
The Prime Minister said, “As we ring in a new year, let’s recommit to the values of unity, inclusivity, and diversity that define us as Canadians. Canada is the best country in the world. Let’s keep making it even better”.
