Monarch champions healthcare access with Sterilisation Box Donation

Oba Oladele Odugbemi, the Onilisa of Lisa Kingdom, has issued a compelling call to all stakeholders in the health sector to unite in strengthening and guaranteeing access to healthcare for all.

The monarch underscored this commitment through the donation of a Sanitary Sterilisation Box to the Lisa health centre.

Oba Odugbemi emphasized that this donation is a crucial step towards enhancing the health centre’s capacity, ultimately benefiting the community.

He further affirmed that his foundation, the Oladele Odugbemi Foundation, is dedicated to making significant contributions to community healthcare, thereby complementing governmental efforts in healthcare delivery.

The monarch highlighted the foundation’s unwavering commitment to promoting quality healthcare services, improving hygiene standards, and equipping health institutions with essential tools that foster safer and healthier communities.

He urged all health sector stakeholders to collaborate closely with the government to bring healthcare directly to the populace, stressing that government cannot achieve this goal in isolation.

In a bold move, Oba Odugbemi charged governments at all levels to declare a state of emergency in the health sector.

This declaration, he argued, is necessary to ensure that every Nigerian enjoys seamless access to healthcare delivery, which is vital for the country’s interest and the well-being of the masses.

The Sanitary Sterilisation Box was formally presented by the Foundation Director, Hajia Suliat Odugbemi-Tinuosho, to the Matron of the Lisa Community Health Centre, Mrs. Temitope Nofisat Sanni, who received the equipment on behalf of the institution.

The foundation remains committed to empowering the people by ensuring they maintain good and quality health conditions.
