NYSC Orientation exercise: Enugu, Osun States get new dates

National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced a slight adjustment to the orientation exercise schedule for Corps Members deployed to Enugu and Osun states.

These states will now commence their orientation on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, and conclude on Monday, May 18, 2026.

This revised schedule places their orientation one week after the commencement in the other 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The NYSC clarified that the change is due to ongoing extensive renovation of the orientation camps by the respective state governments.

For all other states and the FCT Abuja, the orientation exercise remains as previously scheduled, running from Wednesday, April 22, 2026, to Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
Prospective Corps Members affected by this change are advised to take note of the differing dates for compliance.

The NYSC, through its Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, wished all prospective Corps Members a safe journey to their states of deployment.
