The Director General (DG) of the Scheme, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, gave the warning while addressing the 2025 Batch ‘C’ Corps members at the NYSC Delta State Orientation Camp, Issele-Uku.

Nafiu, who said negative social media post by any Corps member would attract sanctions, urge them to instead create contents that would positively project both the Scheme’s and Nigeria’s image.
According to statement released by the Scheme, he also warned them against unauthorised journeys, adding: “Follow simple instructions, be obedient, go for your biometrics and go for your Community Development Service.

“Learn and respect the cultural values of your host communities and do not misrepresent us at your place of primary assignment”.
Earlier, the NYSC Delta State Coordinator, Mr. John Kwaghe, had presented a Camp situation report to the DG, saying 2,101 Corps members, comprising 944 male and 1,157 female were deployed to the State in the new batch.

He added that camp activities had been going on smoothly with full participation of all officials and Corps members, who had demonstrated high level of discipline.
