A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Engr Oyedele Hakeem Alao (Allow Alao), has condoled with the State Governor Seyi Makinde, over death of his elder brother, Engineer Sunday Makinde who died in the early hours of Friday, January 24, at the age of 65 years.
Alao in a condolence message he personally signed, said loosing one’s sibling no matter the age cannot but be painful, noting that the death of Engineer Makinde at this time is a great loss given his impact on his immediate family, the larger Makinde family as well as those who came in contact with him as a professional.
He enjoined Governor Makinde and the entire members of the family to take heart as Almighty God giveth and taketh at His own will, stating that the good deeds of Engineer Sunday Makinde would always be remembered.
Alao said, ‘I want to extend my sincere heartfelt condolences to my dear brother, Governor Seyi Makinde, on the death of his elder brother, Engineer Sunday Makinde.
“I know for a fact that the death of one’s sibling is nothing but a great loss, however I want to enjoin you and other members of the family especially his wife and children to take solace in the good deeds he did while alive and are indelible in the hearts of those who know him and which he will be remembered for.”
Alao then prayed that Almighty God will repose his soul and grant Governor Makinde and the entire family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
