Umahi plays host to Information Minister, Mohammed Idris in Abuja

The Minister of Works, Sen. (Engr) Nweze David Umahi has received in audience the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris at his office, the Ministry of Works, Mabushi Abuja on Thursday, 9th October 2025.
According to the statement released by his aide revealed that the meeting, which was held in closed door, is part of the Renewed Hope strategic interministerial coordination.

Also, the cooperation among Federal Ministries and policy actors aimed at building consensus on implementation of the national development plan, the statement added.
It was disclosed that during the meeting, the two Ministers held pleasant tete a-tete on policy and developmental issues central to government action and which require accelerated attention.

While the meeting is one of the series of interministerial engagements that the Honourable Minister of Works has continued to host since he came on board.
Meanwhile, the Works Minister, David Umahi is a result driven personality who combines personal abilities, passion, and professionalism with teamwork in the delivery of his mandate of office.

He is also a man with track records of excellence in service delivery who creates and fosters collaborative relationships in his workplace.
