Step up efforts to sustain NYSC’s mandates in 2025, DG to staff, Corps

The Director-General of National Youth Service Corps, General YD Ahmed has called on staff and Corps Members to step up efforts in resolve to sustaining vigorous implementation of Scheme’s mandate of fostering unity, integration and development of Nigeria.
General Ahmed made the appeal in his New Year released on Wednesday while reiterated commitment to engage stakeholders to increasingly make facilities available, and opportunities for Corps empowerment under the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED).

The DG who on behalf of the Management of the National Youth Service Corps, heartily felicitated with Corps Members and Staff as the world celebrate the entry into the New Year 2025, alive, hale and hearty.
He used this medium to sincerely appreciate their resilience and dogged commitment to duty at their various locations, which he said culminated in the unprecedented successes the Scheme recorded in the year 2024.

“We are indeed looking ahead full of optimism that this year will record even greater achievements in our quest to extend the frontiers of development in all the critical sectors of our national economy”.
The DG enjoined Corps Members to actively participate and maximally utilize them for self development and equally wish to use this medium to appreciate collaborating agencies and stakeholders for their invaluable support.

He assured them of increase opportunities for more engagements this year, promised to improve on his statutory responsibilities to Nigerians by ensuring that the scheme consolidates on its laudable achievements while looking forward to a rewarding and prosperous year.
