Be lifelong thinkers – Divine Tower School Graduates advised

The graduates of Divine Tower and Tiffany International Schools Gwako Abuja, has been advised to be lifelong thinkers, not just to be degree or certificate holders.

General Secretary, National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools NAPPS FCT, Mrs Yemisi Asun made the appeal while giving Keynote address during the 2025 Graduation/ End of the Year event held at the School premises on Saturday.

Relating to the Keynote address titled: “New breed”, Mrs Asun, who double as the Director Kidsville Higher Academy, Gwagwalada Abuja said today’s world does not reward rote memory, demands creativity, design thinking, and solution‑orientation.
She pressed further to advise the graduates to be lifelong thinkers, and not just mere Degrees holders, adding that the future won’t ask what certificates they hold but will ask what difference they made.

Mrs Asun appealed to the School graduates to transform their thinking beyond the classroom, she said they have mastered not just to consume information, but to curate, connect, and create products of real meaning.

She told them, “As Graduates, you are stepping beyond tradition into transition, not just for yourselves, but for your schools, your communities, and our global future.
“Remember: Your adaptability can disrupt entire industries. Your curiosity can innovate solutions unseen. Your compassion can heal divisions faster than conflict ever could.

“More than any other class in history, you are equipped with the mindset and tools to rewrite tomorrow. Now go: redefine excellence, apply wisdom, and be the New Breed this world so desperately needs”, she said to them.

Earlier, in his speech, the Director of the School, Ameh Benjamin Emmanuel said Divine Tower and Tiffany International Schools is set up to be great, and will always be where quality and undiluted education is prioritized.

He revealed that the School has an integrated curriculum administered by seasoned, enthusiastic educationists which he said is the reason for their 100 percent success rate year on year in all external examinations, “notably, the BECE where we have recorded zero failures thus far.

“We do not joke with the right academic training of our students. The school fully approved by the Government of FCT and fully certified by all relevant agencies in the education sector”, the Director said.

Mr Emmanuel declared that the school has obtained its WAEC and NECO center as promised during the previous year’s gathering, adding that the event is to graduate students who successfully sat for these examinations in the School’s centers and not somewhere else.

Speaking on challenges, the Director said the School have had its fair share which includes late payment of school fees, financial constrain, to mention but few, lamented that it was difficult at certain points, but glorified the Lord that the school continues to push on.

“Challenges are part of life, and we know there may be a few more as the times roll by, but the same God, who kept us this far, will still be with us”, he said.

To the School Graduates, the Director said, “Remember that wisdom is the direct application of knowledge, try as much as possible to apply what you have been taught and be the best amongst others for there is a seed in you already.
He added, “Also remember that we don’t fail here. Embrace challenges and don’t be afraid of change; welcoming life’s challenges and all undesired encounters with enthusiasm holds its own rewards”.

While thanking all parents for the faith and the trust they have in the School, the Director announced that admission to Divine Tower and Tiffany International Schools is opened to all classes from Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Primary, and secondary School.

Also speaking at the event was the outgoing Head Girl, Ugwu Chinenye Jennifer who expressed gratitude to the Principal, Mrs Patience Emmanuel and wonderful team of dedicated staff for organizing this great historic, memorable occasion.

According to her, “Our stay in this noble institution is an unmeasured blessing to our lives, our teachers have carefully laid a solid background for our education. As a matter of fact, Divine Tower is known to be the best secondary school within our vicinity, both in academics and discipline”.
Jennifer recalled her tenure in the office of the head girl, where she encountered so many challenges, experiences from the fact that many students choose to be difficult, more especially her classmates.

“But by God’s grace and the tireless efforts of the principal and members of staff, I managed to scale through all the obstacles that came my way”, the outgoing head girl said.

She added, “No matter how hard it was, me and my co-prefects most especially the school head boy, tried to restore discipline and justice in this great institution”.

Jennifer told her fellow mates to buckle up, saying, they should know that the journey has just begun, and remember that the Director, Principal, and the staff has prepared them with good knowledge to face the challenges of the world with boldness and great determination.
She said, “Some times in our private lives. Things may not turn the way we expect them. There are times when trouble, problem, difficulties and tribulations may attend our way, making the future look break and hopeless.

“At such moments we must never lose hope in life, always stand firm, invite God in everything we want to do, never stop struggling and put our trust and hope in Christ, and He will make a way for us”, Jennifer said.

In conclusion, the outgoing head girl appreciated the efforts of their parents who worked tirelessly to sponsor their education. “We are really grateful to our parents for supplying our needs during our six years in school. I encourage you to keep it up and don’t be carried away with our attitude”.

The event was colourful with side attractions from the students and in attendance were the Chairman, Mr Ismaila Abdulwaheed, the Chairlady, Mrs Blessing Eboigbe, the Keynote Speaker, Mrs Yemisi Asun.

Also, Evangelist Godwin Onoja, Pastor Olanisimi Peace, Pastor & Mrs Daniels Abu, Mr Ojo Akande, Bar. Oluseyi Peters, the PTA Chairlady, Mrs Okechukwu Patricia and Mrs Onoja Patricia.
