Abdulkarim Ozi Ibrahim, newly appointed Permanent Secretary of Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, on Thursday commenced his tenure with comprehensive departmental briefing at the Ministry’s headquarters in Abuja.
This crucial onboarding process provided Mr. Ibrahim with in-depth understanding of the Ministry’s diverse mandates, ongoing initiatives, and future aspirations.
During the briefing, Mr. Ibrahim emphasized the importance of synergy among departments to effectively deliver on the Ministry’s mandate, aligning with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He articulated that the exercise was vital for him to grasp the current state of the affairs, enabling a collective effort to
chart a realistic and result-oriented path forward. 
He underscored guiding principles of Civil Service: transparency, accountability, efficiency, and the rule of law, asserting that all actions must consistently reflect these principles in accordance with Public Service Rules and other extant regulations.
Ibrahim also reiterated his commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and an inclusive leadership style, promising an open-door policy to foster efficiency, responsiveness, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Ministry. 
He believes these elements are pivotal for strengthening the Ministry’s overall performance and achieving its objectives.
Earlier, Dr. Zainab C. Pisaghi, Director of Planning, Research and Statistics, set the stage by highlighting that the briefing would offer detailed updates on key initiatives, stakeholder collaborations, achievements, challenges, and future strategies.
She noted that the insights gained would be instrumental in developing roadmaps to harness Nigeria’s cultural potentials, ultimately positioning the country as a leading destination for tourism and
creative enterprise.
