The United States have reacted over Kremlin’s horrific strikes against Ukraine on Monday, which includes waves of missiles that hit the streets of several Ukrainian cities and it capital during rush hour.

Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, in a statement released by his Spokesman, Ned Price, spoke with with the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba about the horrible strike.

The Secretary commended Ukraine for not allowing Russia’s President, Vlamir Putin to break Ukraine’s spirit and reaffirmed U.S. resolve to support Ukraine.

He noted that the United States will continue to provide vital economic, humanitarian, and security assistance so Ukraine can defend itself and take care of its people.

Blinken also reaffirmed the steadfast support of the United States for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Meanwhile, according to AFP report, missile strikes on “many” Ukrainian cities, including the capital Kyiv, left people dead and wounded on Monday.

The East European country’s presidential office said, a day after Moscow blamed Ukraine for an explosion on a bridge connecting Crimea to Russia.

“Ukraine is under missile attack. There is information about strikes in many cities of our country,”

Kyrylo Tymoshenko, deputy head of the Ukrainian president’s office, said on social media and called on the population to “stay in shelters.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin said his country had launched long-range missiles against Ukrainian energy, military and communications infrastructure.

He said the barrage of missile fire on Monday was a response to “terrorist attacks” on Russian territory and warned an even harsher “response” could come.

Missiles tore into Kyiv, the most intense strikes on the city since Russia abandoned an attempt to capture it in the early weeks of the war that started in late February.

Explosions were also reported in Lviv, Ternopil and Zhytomyr in Ukraine’s west; Dnipro and Kremenchuk in central Ukraine.
