Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun has praised people of the state for his reelection victory, adding that the people have showed overwhelming love and consent to the continuity of good and inclusive governance.

The incumbent Governor disclosed this on his social media platform, after he was declared winner of the just concluded Governorship and State House of Assembly elections on Saturday, 18th March, 2023.

According to him, “To the glory of God, Ogun State Gubernatorial Elections have come and gone, and the good people of the Gateway State have spoken with a common voice with their PVCs.

“I speak for myself and my family, the entire Administration and team, and our great party the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“When I say we are extremely grateful to the politically conscious people of Ogun State for this overwhelming show of love and consent to the continuity of good and inclusive governance”, he added.

The Governor stated that for retaining his Government in office is a direct charge to invest more in the State and people, leaving Ogun State in the next four years better than how it was met it in the last four.

Abiodun said, “As we have so far done and as we conspicuously promised during our statewide campaigns.

“We will maintain equitable distribution of state resources to the betterment of Infrastructure, Social welfare and wellbeing, Education, Youth development, Agriculture and food security (ISEYA)”, he promised.
