In a significant move for the pan-African cultural landscape, Amb. Kazeem Balogun has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer for Nigeria for the prestigious Africa Celebrates event.

The event is set to take place from November 6th to 10th, 2024, and will focus on showcasing Africa’s unity through its rich cultural diversity, economic development, and continental collaboration.
Africa Celebrates is an initiative that fosters the celebration of Africa’s art, culture, heritage, and trade, while promoting investment and the transfer of science and technology across the continent.

As CEO for Nigeria, Balogun is tasked with steering the country’s involvement in the event, enhancing Nigeria’s role in shaping Africa’s cultural and economic integration.
Balogun, a seasoned tourism and media expert, brings a wealth of experience from his role as CEO of Kalo Africa Media and his leadership positions within the African Tourism Board.

His appointment underscores his commitment to advancing the cultural and economic prosperity of Africa and strengthening its ties with the global community.
The 2024 edition of Africa Celebrates promises to be a landmark event, with numerous African nations and diaspora communities participating.

By bringing together leaders, influencers, and creatives from across the continent, the event will spotlight Africa’s potential and progress in achieving unity and sustainable development.

Balogun’s leadership will be instrumental in mobilizing Nigeria’s contributions to this pan-African initiative, further solidifying the country’s status as a key player in Africa’s cultural diplomacy and economic transformation.
