A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Engineer Oyedele Hakeem Alao (Allow Alao), has expressed his condolences to Mr. Tayo Koleosho, other members of the family and the people of Saki land, on the passing of Chief Michael Adeniyi Koleoso.
Chief Koleosho, former Secretary to Oyo State Government (SSG), National Chairman of Alliance for Democracy (AD) and Babalaje of Saki land, died on Monday, at the age of 86 years.
Alao in a condolence statement he personally signed, said he received the news of the passing of the reverred political leader with sadness, stating that he was one of the remaining progressives who joined politics to serve the people.
According to him, the death of Chief Koleosho is not a loss to his family, Saki land, Oke-Ogun, Oyo State but the country as a whole giving what he stood for, reputation and achievements throughout his sojourn as a politician.
He said, “I sincerely want to condole with my dear brother, Tayo a classmate of mine at Loyola College, Ibadan and other members of the family on death of our father and patriarch of the family, Chief Michael Koleosho.
“Papa a true progressive, mentor and guiding light to many of us who decided to be in politics was totally committed to worthy causes as he served truly served humanity to the best of his ability as a successful businessman and an accomplished leader in all spheres of human life.”
Alao then prayed to Almighty God to grant his soul eternal rest and give Tayo, other members of his immediate family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear the great loss.
