Royalprince Media Services, the esteemed publishers behind Emporium
Reporters, Emporium Magazine, and Emporium Online TV, is set to host the inaugural Emporium Leadership Lecture and Awards 2026 on June 25th in Abuja.
This landmark event, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of Emporium Reporters, aims to spotlight exceptional leadership, institutional excellence, and profound contributions to national development.
The lecture, themed “From Clicks to Credibility: Digital Media’s Role in Deepening Nigeria’s Democracy,” will delve into the critical function of digital media in fostering credible information, responsible journalism, accountability, and democratic growth across Nigeria.
The discourse promises to be insightful, guiding conversations on the evolving
media landscape and its societal impact.
Distinguished personalities will grace the occasion, with Chief Sunday Akinlabi Dare, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communication, chairing the event.
Abdullahi O. Haruna Haruspice, Publisher of World Entourage Magazine, will deliver the keynote address, offering his unique perspective on the theme.
Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, President of the Senate, will serve as the Special Guest of Honour, alongside other notable figures such as Alhaji Mohammed Idris, Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation; Brig. General Olakunle Oluseye Nafiu, Director- General of NYSC.
Also, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, Inspector- General of Police; Chief Tony Ojukwu, SAN, OFR, Executive Secretary of National Human Rights Commission; and Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, Director- General of the National Orientation Agency.
A highlight of the event will be the recognition of outstanding Nigerians and institutions for their exemplary service and leadership.
Among the esteemed award recipients are ACC John Attah Onoja, National Commander, Mining Marshals, NSCDC; Alhaji Abdur-Rahman Adekunle Balogun, Director Media, Public Relations and Protocol, NIDCOM.
CGC Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, Comptroller -General of Nigeria Customs Service; Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, OFR, Chairman, Senate Committee on Industry; and Comrade Grace Ike, Chairman, NUJ FCT Council.
Further accolades will be bestowed upon Fame Foundation for Gender Advocacy and Social Impact; Dr. Wisdom Enang, Energy Consultant; Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya, former Member, House of Reps.
Dr. Innocent Odey, Founder, InnoBec Business School; Ambrose Omordion, Chief Operating Officer, InvestData Consulting Limited; and Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace, Director-General, Voice of
Nigeria.
Lukman Laleye Babalola, Publisher/Chief Executive Officer of Royalprince Media Services, articulated the vision behind the initiative.

Babalola further emphasized that the 10th anniversary of Emporium Reporters marks significant milestone, celebrating a decade of impactful reporting, public engagement, and dedicated service to informing society.
The event will also feature the unveiling of a Special 10th Anniversary Commemorative Edition of Emporium Magazine, a publication dedicated to documenting the achievements of individuals and institutions making substantial contributions across various sectors.
The Emporium Leadership Lecture and Awards 2026 is anticipated to draw a diverse audience, including govt officials, media executives, corporate leaders, policymakers, and other stakeholders united in their commitment to advancing credible communication and democratic values in Nigeria.
