According to the monthly sales report released by Chery recently, in September, Chery sold 145,380 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 92.1%, which broke the historical record of single month sales for three consecutive months.

This was disclosed recently by the Chinese leading automotive, while cumulative sales volume in the first three quarters was 893,930 vehicles, up 37.3% year on year.

On the “Yaoguang 2025 Chery Technology Day” on September 16, Chery Group has announced the strategy of “Yaoguang” 2025 cutting-edge technologies and launched the new vision concept vehicle GENE.

According to the estimated data of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the sales volume of the national automobile industry in September increased by 21.3% year on year.

However, Chery Group has created a brilliant performance in “Golden September” with a growth rate of 4 times higher than the national industry sales.

With the excellent performance of 145,000 vehicles in September, it also indicated that since the second half of the year, Chery Group has exceeded 100,000 vehicles in a single month for the fourth consecutive month, enhancing the standard of historical sales of a single month for the third time in a row.

Chery achieved sales volume of 112,980 in September, up 112.6% year-on-year; and the cumulative sales from January to September were 679,863, up 55% year-on-year.

As two major models of Chery’s sales growth, TIGGO 8 and TIGGO 7 series have obtained the global sales volume of 141,400 and 119,700 respectively from January to September, which have been used as the vehicles for presidents and state guests in some overseas countries/regions, which has won the favor of global consumers.

Furthermore, while the sales volume is rising steadily, “Technology Chery” has also accelerated its pace and occupied a seat in technology.

On the “Yaoguang 2025 Chery Technology Day” on September 16, Chery Group has announced the strategy of “Yaoguang” 2025 cutting-edge technologies with 13 core technologies, including platform architecture, three-power system, intelligent driving, smart cloud platform and ecological partners and launched the new vision concept vehicle GENE.

Currently, automotive industry is quietly becoming the entrance to explore the metaverse. This is largely because that the combination of metaverse and driving scenarios can truly create a mobile intelligent space, enabling users to experience the new intelligent technologies beyond driving.

Furthermore, it is understood that the concept vehicle Gene is equipped with a “mystery mode”, also called a “metaverse mode” compared with other new concept vehicles of competitors.

The exterior lights of the concept vehicle are composed of real mode (real-active driving) and virtual mode (meta-automatic driving), which can be switched according to user’s need. As the lights turn to metaverse mode, Chery’s logo will also change from the real mode to the meta-virtual logo mode.
