Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) Abike Dabiri-Erewa has commended Daniel Ford Foundation for philanthropic gestures to humanity.
Dabiri-Erewa, who was the Special Guest of Honour at Daniel Ford International Elite Table Tennis Tournament held at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
According to the statement released by the Commission, she commended Mr. Yemi Edun for sponsoring tournament and empowering the youth in the process,
She also applauded the Lagos State Government for creating the enabling environment for the tournament to hold.
The NIDCOM Boss called on other Nigerians in diaspora and public-spirited individuals and organisations, both home and abroad, to emulate this laudable initiative .
She also congratulated the beneficiaries for the unique opportunity to exhibit their talents at the Championship. 
Responding, Mr Yemi Edun, the founder, Daniel Ford International, appreciated Hon. Dabiri-Erewa for gracing the occasion. He said he will continue to embark on impactful programs particularly for the youth .
Mr. Abdulfatai Abdulbasit, representing Kwara State, won the Under-19 Boys’ category, while Miss Ayoola Kabirat of Lagos State, won the Under-19 Girls’ category. The two-day event was aimed at discovering new talents.
