The installation ceremony of His Imperial Majesty, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Abimbola Akinloye Iyanda Olakunlehin (Ige Olakunlehin 1), will continue to linger in the memories of Ibadan indigenes all over the world.

The beautiful ceremony held on Friday, 12th of July, 2024 at the historic Mapo Hall saw all the markets in the city closed with all the roads that led to the venue also closed.

While jam-packed with Governors, monarchs, heavy and mighty in the political circle , top government officials, creme de la creme in the society and host of others gathered to celebrate with the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
After the presentation of staff of office to Oba Olakunlehin by Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, the guests then moved to Kakanfo Inn for the reception.

Located around Joyce’s B road, the reception venue was filled to the brim with who is who in the society showing the support and love they have for the Olakunlehin family.
While speaking with Apreel1 Events TV, the children, family members and friends congratulated Oba Olakunlehin on his coronation as the 43rd Olubadan, praying that he would reign long on the throne of his forefathers.

The event was anchored by Chief Niyi Akinboade popularly called Ologbojo and anchored covered by Apreel1 Events TV.
