Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has expressed his sincere gratitude to Federal Goverment for entrusting his administration with reconstruction of the Abeokuta/Sango Ota Tollgate Road.
Abiodun who made this known on Tuesday, said this decision brings Ogun people, Govt great joy as it signifies a commendable step towards alleviating the challenges faced by road users on this particular route.
Approximately a month ago, the Minister of Works, Engineer David Umahi, paid a visit to inspect the Federal Government’s road infrastructure in Ogun State.
During this visit, the Governor revealed that he had the opportunity to express his concerns, aspirations for the improvement of these roads, which he believe would greatly contribute to the socioeconomic development of the state.
Abiodun also expressed his utmost gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for granting the State this longstanding request. “It’s testament to the success of the administration Renewed-Hope agenda and reaffirms our commitment to deliver positive change and progress in our dear state”.
The Governor said he will share this news with the good people of Ogun State and visitors alike, as an important stakeholder in the society. “Your support and understanding throughout this process have been invaluable.
“And we believe that this development will greatly benefit everyone who utilises this road. We’re committed to keeping you updated on the progress of this project and its impact on our region” the Governor said.
