The Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has described the large turnout at the All Progressive Congress (APC) mobilisation rally in Kaduna as a strong endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reform agenda.
Speaking at the rally on Saturday, Idris said Nigerians from across the country had gathered to demonstrate their support for the President, despite the difficulties associated with the ongoing reforms.
He expressed confidence that the administration’s policies would ultimately deliver prosperity, saying Nigeria was moving beyond its current challenges and consolidating economic gains.
The Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dr Dele Alake, said the government had taken difficult but necessary decisions to reposition the economy.
He urged Nigerians to support the reforms, insisting that the country had entered a new phase of “reform to prosperity.”
Also speaking, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Public Enlightenment, Abdul’aziz Abdul’aziz, said the 2027 campaign would focus on showcasing the administration’s achievements, including student support through the Nigeria Education Loan Fund and investments in infrastructure.
He said the campaign would present evidence of the government’s performance and make the case for President Tinubu’s re-election.
