Ijo Mimo Ibukun Orisun Iye, Olaiya Street, Tipper Garage, Ibadan, celebrated its 36 annual anniversary on Sunday, December 8, during which branches both home, abroad came together to celebrate God for His care from last year till now.
The celebration started by 10am prompt and anchored by Leader Dayo Olagundoye. The only lesson for the anniversary was read by Mama Ijo, Prophetess Taye Alalade followed by the three people prayer said by Prophet Oguntunwase, The Founder, Ijo Mimo Ibukun Orisun Iye, Mama Mary Osunla and Baba Ijo Ibukun Orisun Iye, Special Apostle Akinola.
Thereafter, special praises were rendered by the Choir leaders, Ijo Ibukun Orisun Oye, Evangelists Abiodun Olaniyi and Mary Akinfolarin. The prayer section was then led by Prophetess Dayo Fajutu.
However as the event was progressing, Alagba Fajutu came to the podium to invite the dignitaries to the high seats followed by ushering in of Baba Aladura, Superintendent Apostle (Dr.) Issac Adeopa.
The choir and the church brigades were not left out in rendering special songs to the cheering of the invited guests at the anniversary.
Special Apostle Alfred Olanrewaju Ale while delivering the sernon asked the brethren, ” Do you give thanks to God”, urging all the people present at the anniversary to always give thanks to God when it is convenient or not.
During interview with Media Bypass, church members and dignitaries present at the occasion gave thanks to God for the grace and opportunity for them to be at this year’s anniversary and prayed for long life for the founder of the church, Mama Mary Osunla.
Present at the anniversary include the gospel music legend, Evangelist (Dr.) Mrs. Funmi Aragbaiye, Superintendent Apostle (Dr.) Issac Adeopa and a host of others. While the event was covered by Apreel1 Events TV.
