The Lagos State Police Command on Wednesday has declares Owodunni Ibrahim aka Primeboy wanted over the circumstances leading to the death of the singer, Mr Ilerioluwa Aloba aka Mohbad.
In a statement released by the Lagos Police Command Spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, stating that Primeboy refused to honour police invitation successfully sent to him since the commencement of investigation.
Recalled that the Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that an investigation has commenced into the cause of the tragic demise of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad.
According to the statement issued on Saturday, September 16, 2023 the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Idowu Owohunwa, has directed a full-scale criminal investigation into the case.
The team, which comprises seasoned homicide detectives, tasked to aggregate allegations, suspicious and insinuations from various sources on the death of the singer and undertake a professional, diligent and timely investigation with a view to establishing facts.
Clearing all doubts and ensuring that justice is manifestly served through a meticulous process that will deploy all requisite protocols (which may include exhumation), technical and scientific tools that are vital to the detailed investigation of homicide allegations of this nature.
In this aid of this initiative, the Lagos State Government pledged its total support to Special Investigation Team in all ways required to guarantee a diligent investigative exercise.
While Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu gave this assurance while consulting with State Commissioner of Police earlier today on how best for ensure that case is expeditiously probed and justice is delivered promptly.
The Police placed an appeal to the deceased’s family, friends, business associates or anyone with useful information that could aid the investigation to kindly share same with the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department.
According to today’s statement, Ibrahim (Primeboy) declared wanted is approximately 1.64-m tall, male, dark-complexioned with tribal marks and Yoruba by tribe. His last known address is 3rd Power, Oke Eletu, Ikorodu. If seen, contact the nearest police station or call 0803 688 5727.
