The Tinubu–Shettima re-election campaign received a fresh organisational boost as Honorable Vandefan Gemade donated a fully equipped office facility to PBAT @ Grassroots Connect, the support group he coordinates nationally.
Located at BAVIS House, 19 Gwani Street, Wuse Zone 4, Abuja, the new facility will serve as the group’s strategic coordination centre as it builds a nationwide grassroots network ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The office is expected to strengthen the organisation’s communication, outreach and mobilisation efforts while providing a permanent base for coordinating activities across communities.
Members have described the donation as a major investment in the group’s drive to deepen political engagement and encourage voter participation.
Gemade, son of Senator Barnabas Gemade, a former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party and now a member of All Progressives Congress, has become a prominent grassroots organiser within the Tinubu support movement.
Despite previously contesting the APC primary for the Federal House of Representatives without securing the party’s ticket, he has remained active in political organisation and mobilisation.
As preparations continue for the group’s forthcoming National Inauguration, PBAT @ Grassroots Connect says it is focused on establishing a formidable structure across the country.
Its strategy will include engaging emerging and newly registered voters, expanding community participation and building stronger links between citizens and the progressive political movement.
The organisation’s women’s wing is also helping drive the expansion. Led by Mrs. Wandoo Evelyn Tseayo, the wing is developing alliances among women, communities and party stakeholders, reflecting the group’s view that women are central to effective grassroots mobilisation.
For PBAT @ Grassroots Connect, the new office represents more than workspace. It is a vote of confidence in the organisation’s vision and a signal that its campaign to build a broad-based grassroots network for the Tinubu– Shettima ticket is moving into a more coordinated phase.
