The Director-General of National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR) Alhaji Nura Kangiwa, has shown his willingness to endorse the forthcoming African Youth Tourism Festival.
Kangiwa made the assurance with the Organizers of the African Youth Tourism Festival led by Amb Ayo Omotoso during his official visit to the institute in Abuja recently.
According to him, “African youths must begin to see tourism as a positive instrument of vocational living”.
The institute whose part of its objectives is to lead stakeholders and delegates in culinary tourism in Nigeria to showcase the variety of African foods to the world.
Amb Ayo Omotoso expressed that the Nihotour is reputable in tourism and hospitality training with a flagship in Gastronomy event organized annually.
Omotoso said, “We find it worthy to associate with the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism in the epoch-making African Youth Tourism Festival slated for 16th to 20th April at Tafawa Balewa Square, TBS, Lagos, Nigeria”
The 5-day event is lined up with interesting activities such as Conference and Exhibition, Musicals and Cultural Display, 100 Talking Drummers Emsembe, African Food Carval, Hospitality Fiesta, City Tour, Beach Tourism Party, Talents Discovery, Fashion Show, among others.
