The declaration started from osogbo with sophisticated cars moving in convoy to Ilesa. On getting to Ilesa roundabout, a large crowd of indigenes were gathered to welcome the Prince Haastrup singing joyful songs and praying to God to grant his desire to be next occupant of the revered throne of Owa Obokun of Ijesaland.

Speaking in an interview with Media Bypass, some of the elders and people of Ilesa said they were happy to be part of the declaration of Prince Ademuyiwa Haastrup for the stool of Owa Obokun of Ijesaland.
“Prince Ademuyiwa Haastrup is a socialite, and has contributed a lot to the entertainment industry in Nigeria.

“He is a kind of Prince that the people of Ilesa want as Owa Obokun of Ijesaland at this time as we believe that he will greatly contribute to the development of Ijesaland”, they all said.
