The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has restored electricity supply to customers affected by a planned outage at the 132/33kV Apo Transmission Substation.

Power was restored at 4:08 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2026, after engineers completed repairs to a fault along Apo Lines 1 and 2, between Towers T130 and T132.

The restoration followed the successful completion of OPGW latching on the two 132kV transmission lines, allowing the substation to resume normal operations.

TCN thanked affected electricity customers for their patience and understanding, assuring the public of its continued commitment to maintaining a reliable and efficient transmission network.
