The United States has welcomed Germany’s decision to ban activities supporting Hamas, which builds on the EU’s designation to fully restrict and criminalize support of the terrorist group.

According to the statement from the Home Office Spokesperson on Wednesday, urged other governments around the world to take action under their own authorities to hold Hamas accountable as it seeks to sustain its terrorist activities.

Recall that the world witnessed on October 7 Hamas’ attack on Israel, adding that this group is a dangerous terrorist organization, which engages in barbaric actions and has compounded and perpetuated the suffering of the Palestinian people at every step of this crisis.

United States vowed to continue to work with allies and partners around the world to counter Hamas and other deadly terrorist organizations. “Palestinians are not to blame and should not continue to suffer for Hamas’ horrific terrorist attacks”.

United States reiterated that Hamas does not represent the aspirations of the Palestinian people, who deserve to live in safety, dignity, and peace.

“Complete ban on pro-Hamas activities, this decision is of strong support in solidarity with Israel and a strong statement by the government against antisemitic tendencies which exacerbate internal tensions within Germany against Jews,’ explained by Former Amb. of Israel to Germany @JIssacharoff.
