We don’t charge for deployment, relocation of Corps, NYSC reiterates

The National Youth Service Corps NYSC has reiterated that Deployment and Relocation of Prospective Corps Members, as well as Corps Members are carried out free of charge.

This was disclosed in statement released by the Scheme Spokesman with the title: ‘Prospective Corps members, Corps members, Corps Producing Institutions and the General Public’ recently,

The NYSC Management said this is in accordance with the Deployment and Relocation policies of the Scheme.

The Scheme made it clear that the Relocation of Corps Members is effected on individual merit, in line with the laid down policy.



In addition, mobilisation of Prospective Corps Members for national service is free of charge, as Corps Producing Institutions do not pay for that.

“Any infraction on the above policies should be reported to the Heads of the nearest NYSC formations nation wide, NYSC National Directorate Headquarters Abuja and or security agencies for prompt action”, the management said.
