The National Youth Service Corps NYSC has restated that its organization is backed up by the Constitution with its statutory, unbiased deployment policy without tribal, religious, other sentiments which has been successfully done in the past fifty (50) years of its existence.

While giving the avoidance of doubt over the fake and misleading information trending online on the deployment of the 2024 Batch ‘A’ Stream Two Prospective Corps Members from the Eastern, Southern and Western parts of the country to the North-West.

According to the statement released by the Scheme, stating that the purported letter did not emanate from the Management of National Youth Service Corps.

On this, the NYSC Management advised parents, guardians, and other members of the public to disregard malicious information which lacks merit with the imagination of the writer, meant to raise apprehension among the Prospective Corps Members for the next Orientation Exercise slated for April, 2024.

The Scheme reaffimed its strong commitment to the security and welfare of its Corps Members, adding that it’ll continue to sustain the existing deployment policy of Prospective Corps Members for the benefit of all members of the service corps and also aid national unity and development without prejudice.

While strongly warned and advised purveyors of fake news on the programmes to desist henceforth, from peddling fake news, says Members of the public should always clarify news items from NYSC social media handles or NYSC Offices located in all States of the Federation.
