It was reported by Mossad Commentary on X that over $1 million has been raised for Ahmed al Ahmed, the civilian hero who stopped one of the Islamist terrorists during the Bondi Beach Hanukkah attack.

Media Bypass News had earlier reported that two armed men shot and killed 11 people while emergency responders rushed at least 29 people to local hospitals from Bondi beach, one of the biggest tourist draws in Australia’s largest city.

The attack unfolded about 6:45 p.m. Sunday during an event marking the first day of Hanukkah at Archer Park, a grassy area near the beach, New South Wales Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon said, adding that more than 1,000 people had gathered for the celebration when the attack took place.

The video showed a man, identified as Ahmed al-Ahmed, 43, running towards one of the alleged shooters. He’s then seen disarming the alleged gunman before pointing his weapon back at him, prompting him to walk away.
Al-Ahmed is a fruit seller who was having lunch in the area with a friend when the shooting unfolded and he intervened, according to his brother, Huthaifa. “I’m really proud about my brother,” he told ABC News. “He’s a good man. He’s brave,” he said.

The father of two was taken to a hospital, where he was treated for bullet wounds. His brother said he is recovering in the hospital, but is not 100% yet and the New South Wales Premier Chris Minns called him a “real-life hero.”
According to report, a GoFundMe page for al-Ahmed has raised almost $1.5 million with thousands of donations and also billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman also shared the fundraiser on his X account Sunday, donating $99,999.

The victims of Sunday’s mass shooting ranged in ages 10 to 87, and the alleged gunmen are father and son, aged 50 and 24, officials said. Their names have not been released, but authorities said the father is dead and the son was hospitalized.

Meanwhile, report has it that twenty-five people, including children, remain in the hospital after a shooting attack on Sunday at a Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach, health officials said Tuesday morning local time.
