According to the statement released by the Scheme Spokesman, Eddy Megwa, the DG urged Corps members to remain focused and diligent as they prepare themselves to be role models to other Nigerian Youths.

General Ahmed advised them in both camps to serve their fatherland with pride as good ambassadors of their families, institutions and the NYSC and avoid misconduct in their interactions.

“Be law-abiding within and outside the camp. NYSC would not condone indiscipline and if you violate any of our rules and regulations, you would be penalized in line with the NYSC Act and Byelaws.

Accept your posting in good faith and prepare your mind to contribute to the development of your host communities and places of primary assignment. Always respect the culture and traditions of your host communities and adhere strictly to the NYSC dress code”, he said.

While giving the camp situation report to the Director General, the NYSC Bauchi State Coordinator, Mrs Daniel Rifkatu Yakubu said since the inception of the Orientation Course, there has been a strong synergy among the camp officials, while the Corps Members have also been complying with instructions.

Similarly, the NYSC Plateau State Coordinator, Mrs Ikupolati Esther said all the registered 1,273 Corps Members comprising 639 males and 634 females are actively participating in camp activities.
