The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced a scheduled four-hour maintenance outage on the Ikeja West/Ejigbo 132kV Transmission Line 1 at the Ejigbo 132kV Transmission Substation in Lagos State.

The maintenance is set to take place on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

According to TCN, the company will also shut down Transmission Line 2 temporarily to create a safe working environment for its maintenance crew.

As a result, approximately 40 megawatts of electricity supply is expected to be interrupted at the Ejigbo Transmission Substation during the exercise.

However, TCN said the Airport load would be diverted to the Isolo Transmission Line to reduce the impact on customers.

The company apologised to customers of the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company who may experience power disruption during the maintenance period.
